Given the immense popularity of ringtones, particularly among the youth, who make up a large segment of mobile users, music and film marketing companies have been quick to spot the benefits of promoting a film or album or artiste by tying up with a mobile phone company or website to enable users to download the particular music that will spread the word about the product・ Among many young users, in fact, a ringtone can become a fashion statement, so the urge to keep up with the latest ringtone trends is always great.

With several mobile handsets now being fitted with the composer - option, it is actually possible for amateur musicians to compose wacky ringtones and put them up for sale on a website. And if you want to create funny noises that crack everyone up, you needn’t even be a musician. Just some wackiness in your head would do!
